This course is suitable of all compaines, small business, shopping and leisure centres who have a AED machine on their premises. The course teaches the AED operator the essential skills required to know what to do in an emergency. No previous knowledge in first aid is necessary to attend this course.
The course consists of 4 hours contact teaching time. Usually run over one 4-hour session although this is flexible to suit your needs. A maximum of 12 students are allowed and must be aged a minimum of 16 years or above. Larger groups can be catered for, but the ratio must not exceed 12 students per instructor.
Assessment is ongoing by the instructor; on successful completion of the course a certificate from Blue Earth Training will be issued and is valid for 1 year.
